In Athens you will discover many archaeological finds at several stations of the Athenian Metropolitan Railway. This Parthenon marble horse reminds us how important the Hellenic small-horse was in antiquity and is part of an exhibit which embellishes the Acropolis Metro Station.

Permanent Exhibition in Athens, Greece

Following the three HORSE ART exhibitions in Athens in 2005 and 2006 and in response to the interest shown by the local public, we decided to open in Athens a permanent HORSE ART exhibition in aid of the Hellenic small-horse or "Skyros horse". On site you will view the videos created so far on the subject, read the press clippings and educational material and of course admire the original works of art presenting these gentle small-horses. To support the Skyros horse and The SILVA Project you can purchase original works as well as some quality reproductions - greeting cards, posters, mounted A4 size reproductions, etc.

The talented artists who currently present their works in aid of the Hellenic small-horse are: Ioanna Assimenou, Gérald Buthaud, Chrisitne Cornet, Christine Darboux, Yves Donnay, Laurent Frison, Luc Gazon, Françoise Gresse, Jon Olav Helle, Makis Konstandelakis, Michael Lawrence, Philippe Meyrier, Audrey Migeotte, Claudine Morsa, Martine Picard-Hélary, Georges Pennas, Aliki A. Steen, Cherry Sweig, Ariane Thonon.
